On the evening of November 5, a grenade exploded in a shopping center in Kyiv. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and a suspect has been arrested. This was reported by the Kyiv police.
According to law enforcement, a 39-year-old local resident detonated a grenade after a dispute with the staff. They stated that he was intoxicated at the time.
No injuries were reported as the grenade turned out to be a paintball device. Police were called to the scene.
Later, the police confirmed the information and announced that the suspect was taken into custody. Investigators are working to determine the full circumstances of the incident.
“A forensic team and bomb disposal experts are on-site. There are no civilian injuries… The man has been detained, and police are currently questioning him. The legal qualification of the event is under review,” the statement said.
