A new social initiative called 'Ukrzaliznytsia 3000' will be launched in December, offering Ukrainians the chance to travel for free within 3,000 km. This was announced by the CEO of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Pertzovsky, during a press briefing.
Starting in December, during the low season, passengers will have the opportunity to use up to 250,000 unoccupied seats on long-distance trains for four months.
The focus will primarily be on residents from frontline territories. It is noteworthy that no additional budget funding is allocated for this program, and the implementation details are still being worked out.
