In recent days, Poland's Internal Security Agency (ABW) has conducted a large-scale operation resulting in the arrest of eight individuals suspected of planning terrorist activities. Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced this on his social media.
“With the assistance of other security services, ABW has arrested eight individuals in various regions of the country who are suspected of organizing diversions. The investigation is ongoing, and we are conducting further operational measures,” Tusk stated.
The Minister coordinating the security services, Tomasz Semeniak, clarified on social media that the arrested individuals were “monitoring military facilities and critical infrastructure, preparing resources for diversions, and executing attacks”.
He also added that ABW is closely cooperating with the Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW), police, and the prosecution.
