On October 19, a free outreach event for women will take place in Shevchenko Park, Kyiv, organized by the medical volunteers of FRIDA Ukraine in collaboration with the DILA medical laboratory.

The Mobile Clinic will offer women consultations with a mammologist and gynecologist, as well as ultrasound scans of the breast and pelvic organs, and a Papanicolaou test using liquid cytology. Experienced FRIDA volunteers will conduct the examinations.

This Health Day is held in anticipation of October 20 — the All-Ukrainian Day for Breast Cancer Awareness, with the entire month traditionally focused on raising awareness of this important issue.

«The initiative aims to encourage women to undergo regular preventive check-ups and take care of their health. During the event, the FRIDA team will also distribute informational materials on early breast cancer detection and essential aspects of women's health care. Your attention to your body can save YOUR life», — the organizers emphasize.

FRIDA Ukraine — a medical volunteer mission that brings together over 1100 doctors from across the country and the world. They operate in frontline regions, deploying field clinics to provide free medical services to populations affected by conflict and occupation.
