Due to the extensive assault by Russian forces on the energy infrastructure, emergency power outages have been enforced in several regions of Ukraine. This was reported by the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" via social media.

"As a result of the attack on energy facilities, a significant number of consumers have been left without power in Kiev, Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Odesa regions. To improve the situation in the energy system, emergency outages have been implemented," the statement reads.

Energy companies are working diligently to restore stable electricity supply as quickly as possible. Emergency outages will be lifted once the energy system stabilizes.
