On October 6, the Kyiv City State Administration's Main Information and Computing Center signed a contract with "Smart Apps" for the modernization of the "Kyiv Digital" system worth 7.66 million UAH. This was reported by "Our Money" citing "Prozorro" data.
The "Kyiv Digital" system includes mobile applications designed for user convenience, such as "Kyiv Digital" and "Parking Inspector's ARM".
This year, improvements are planned for the "Kyiv Digital" mobile application to enhance usability and expand the administrative panel functionalities.
Proposed enhancements include:
- the creation of a "Leisure" service to view cultural venue information;
- notifications for parents about the movements of their children;
- information on available parking spots for people with disabilities;
- automatic termination of active parking sessions in case of a malfunction;
- notifications about changes in metro operations;
- displaying schedules for surface transport;
- informing users about the unavailability of specific services via a modal window.
This is already the third agreement under the comprehensive city target program "Digital Kyiv" for 2024-2027. In June, a contract was signed with "IT Group Ukraine" for 22.39 million UAH for the creation of new services, and in April, "Smart Apps" secured a contract worth 21.98 million UAH for implementing free public transport for privileged categories. The competitor of the winner was the Kyiv-based company "Seira Solutions" headed by Tatyana Ostrovskaya. "Smart Apps" is owned by Veniamin Matusevich, and managed by Olena Tymoshchuk.
