The Ukrainian communication systems manufacturer, Himera Radios, has announced the successful fulfillment of its first state order for the Ministry of Defense of a European NATO member country, which has chosen to remain anonymous.
As part of the order, the company conducted training sessions for local military forces and communication units. Himera Radios reported that their communication systems were highly praised for their low visibility in the radio spectrum, resilience against electronic warfare, user-friendliness, long battery life, and adaptability to modern combat conditions.
"This is a significant step in strengthening international partnerships and developing secure communication systems on the battlefield... These results affirm HIMERA's technological competitiveness and the trust from our partners," the manufacturer stated.
It is worth noting that in August, Himera Radios announced the launch of version 2.0 for its tactical radios. According to the developers, their radios can now cover the battalion-brigade link, which is critical for battlefield coordination.
In July, the Himera G1 PRO radio underwent explosive testing at a military range, where it was detonated in various configurations, ranging from 200 grams to 1 kg of C-4.
