The Latvian State Police has dispatched another batch of cars and vans to aid Ukraine in its security and defense efforts.
This was announced by the Ukrainian Embassy in Latvia via social media.
On September 22, Ukraine's ambassador Anatoliy Kutsvol participated in the delivery of additional vehicles for Ukraine's security needs.
Latvia sent a total of 32 vehicles to Ukraine, with nearly half being police vehicles that required replacement.
In addition to the vehicles, a humanitarian cargo will also be sent to Ukraine, including children's clothing, school supplies, and other essential items to support children and educational institutions in Ukraine. The Latvian Basketball Association has also contributed by providing sports equipment for Ukrainian children and youth.
The aid will be directed to the most affected regions of Ukraine, specifically Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts.
