Starting September 15, 2025, Ukrposhta will begin testing a beta version of its new mobile app featuring the most sought-after functions.
This was announced by the company's CEO, Ihor Smiliansky, via Telegram.
«We plan to launch the app in three phases, similar to what leading companies around the world do. Today, the beta version with the most anticipated features is available. We invite everyone to download it, test it, and leave feedback—there's a special form in the app», he stated.
The new app already features push notifications about incoming parcels, changes in delivery status, reminders for pickups, and new promotions. All shipments related to a specific phone number will also be automatically displayed.
Additionally, a detailed tracking function will allow users to monitor all information about their parcel: route, sender, receiver, tariff, status, payment details, and a barcode for scanning at the post office. The app will also include a universal search for shipments and an interactive map of post offices with addresses and working hours, as well as online payment options (currently only available during the shipment creation stage).
«And there’s one unique feature that no one else offers. When creating a shipment, you can choose an option based on price and delivery times: more expensive and next day (the «Priority» tariff) if you're in a hurry, or 2-4 days (the «Basic» tariff)», Smiliansky added.
In the second phase, the company plans to implement parcel management features (redirecting, changing the recipient) and payment by the recipient. After this phase, all paper requests at post offices will be cancelled. Everything will be available online or through a call center.
In the third phase, functionality will be expanded, allowing users to accept payments and order various goods, stamps, medications, etc.
Smiliansky noted that the app is a proprietary development of Ukrposhta, without the involvement of third-party companies.
As a reminder, Ukrposhta is introducing «Express Window» services in its post offices to expedite service for parcel and letter recipients.
