The President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, announced that during an emergency meeting of the National Security Bureau, the issue of Russian drones violating the airspace of the Republic of Poland was discussed, potentially leading to the activation of NATO Article 4.

Also participating in the meeting were Prime Minister Donald Tusk, deputy heads of the Ministry of National Defense, and senior military commanders.
Nawrocki stated that the possibility of implementing NATO's Article 4 was discussed, which stipulates that "the parties shall hold joint consultations whenever, in the opinion of one of them, the territorial integrity, political independence, or security of the other party is threatened."
He mentioned that General Wiesław Kukula, the Chief of the General Staff, promised to provide a full report on the incidents within 48 hours.
Additionally, the need to strengthen Poland's defenses against drone threats was discussed, particularly in the context of cooperation with NATO allies.
Currently, services are analyzing the aftermath of the nighttime events.
It is noteworthy that on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that Poland's airspace had been repeatedly violated by drones during Russia's attacks on Ukraine. Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that NATO allies are facing a "large-scale provocation" from Moscow due to violations of airspace by Russian drones.
