In Kyiv, a memorial dedicated to the Main Intelligence Directorate was unveiled at the Defender's Alley. The sign, featuring the eyes of an owl, symbolizes the courage and expertise of Ukrainian intelligence officers.
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the GUR, emphasized the importance of honoring the bravery of soldiers within society. “It is crucial for society to remember our feats and support the military in every possible way,” he remarked.
Colonel chaplain Konstantin Kholodov highlighted that the role of an intelligence officer requires not only physical fitness but also exceptional bravery. “This is not just a job; it is a calling that demands the ability to make quick decisions in critical situations,” he stated.
This memorial marks the ninth installment in the Defender's Alley, which was established to honor Ukrainian soldiers.
