French President Emmanuel Macron announced that 26 countries are prepared to either send military units or provide other support to Ukraine.

He made this statement during a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris.

"We have made significant progress, our military experts have been collaborating closely, and I can assert that we are ready. Today we have political and military proposals, as well as 35 leaders willing to offer Ukraine security guarantees", Macron said.

He emphasized that the coalition is formulating its commitments based on two main aspects.

Firstly, it involves providing the Ukrainian army with all necessary resources to counter potential threats. Coalition members seek to enable Ukraine to restore and strengthen its defense capabilities.

"The second aspect is the international security assurance forces. Currently, 26 countries have officially expressed their readiness to send contingents to Ukraine or provide resources to support security at sea and in the air", Macron stated.

He also stressed that the aim of these forces is not to wage war against Russia but to ensure peace and send a strategic message to prevent the resumption of hostilities.

"We are currently determining where they will be positioned", Macron added.

It is worth noting that the meeting of the "coalition of the determined" concluded in Paris, and President Zelensky left the Élysée Palace. Representatives from over 30 countries participated, including six EU leaders, EU leadership, and the Ukrainian president in person.
