On Monday, September 1, an urgent meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council will be held in the capital of Belgium.

This was announced by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga via the social network X.

Sybiga emphasized that this meeting has been initiated by Ukraine in response to the recent massive airstrikes by Russia.

"We expect a focused discussion on joint steps to adequately respond to Russia's refusal of peace efforts and the escalation of terror against Ukrainians," said Sybiga.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry thanked NATO and all allies who continue to support Ukraine.

"Moscow must feel increased pressure as a result of the continued war," he added.

Recall that on the night of August 28, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukrainian regions, seriously affecting the Ukrainian capital.

As reported by "European Truth", the attack damaged the Office of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the building of the European Union representation.

The European External Action Service, led by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, summoned the temporary chargé d'affaires of Russia in the EU over the attack on the EU delegation building in Kyiv.
