Ukraine has received a total of €4.05 billion, including €1 billion under ERA Loans funded by frozen Russian assets and €3.05 billion through the Ukraine Facility aimed at recovery and integration.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
"This support strengthens both the state budget and the recovery process," she noted.
Svyrydenko expressed gratitude to European partners.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the funds will be allocated for urgent social and humanitarian expenditures in the state budget.
Overall, the Ukraine Facility aims to mobilize approximately €12.5 billion this year, of which over €6.5 billion has already been received.
To receive the next tranche from the EU, Ukraine has implemented necessary reforms scheduled for completion by the end of the first quarter of 2025. These reforms include anti-corruption measures, public administration, regional policy, human capital, and other vital areas.
The ERA mechanism is expected to provide Ukraine with $50 billion, funded through revenues from frozen Russian assets, with the EU's contribution being €18.1 billion. To date, the Ministry of Finance has secured €9 billion from the European Union under the ERA initiative.
The European Union remains the largest donor of financial support to Ukraine, totaling €57.5 billion over the past 3.5 years. Specifically, during the first 8 months of 2025, the country has received over €15.5 billion from the EU.
As reported by Ukrinform, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko stated that the government may seek additional funding from the International Monetary Fund.
