In the Poltava region, an incident occurred where the alert system mistakenly issued a radiation threat instead of an air raid warning.

This was reported by the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, via Telegram.

"Today, during an air raid alert due to ongoing attacks by enemy UAVs, our alert system malfunctioned and incorrectly announced a radiation threat instead of the air raid warning," Kohut noted.

As of August 1, a differentiated air raid alert system has been implemented in Poltava region.
