After an airstrike that devastated the central bus station in Zaporizhzhia, local authorities plan to set up new temporary services for passengers to ensure bus operations from the former location.

This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, during a broadcast.

«Zaporizhzhia has lost its central bus station. This station used to serve areas that are currently occupied, but it also provided connections to Dnipro, Kyiv, and other regions. We will establish new functionality at this location. Mobile ticket counters and passenger service points will be created to ensure operations from here,» - said the regional head.

He added that while the main building of the bus station was destroyed, the platform remains operational.
