Recently, the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv signed an agreement with the charity fund «Superhumans». This document creates new opportunities for comprehensive rehabilitation of the capital's law enforcement officers who have been injured while performing their duties in combat zones.
«Superhumans» is a national center specializing in prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, as well as physical and psychological rehabilitation, including hearing restoration. The center provides assistance to military personnel and civilians affected by armed aggression.
Thanks to this agreement, police officers in Kyiv will gain access to advanced treatment and support methods based on evidence-based medicine principles. In addition to medical assistance, the parties agreed to collaborate on the social reintegration of service veterans and the organization of events to support them.
«Supporting those who defend our country at the cost of their own health is a priority for our organization», the police in Kyiv stated.
Meanwhile, Kyiv has received unique rehabilitation equipment worth three million dollars from Japan for people with disabilities.
