Honor to the Ukrainian signalmen! Every year on August 8, Ukraine celebrates Signal Troops Day.

The modern technological warfare and intelligence operations are unimaginable without the efforts of signalmen.

Thus, today I express my respect and gratitude to everyone involved in this crucial task within the GUR and all security and defense forces of Ukraine — to each individual who builds, maintains, and protects the intricate systems and networks that ensure military command, enabling effective combat against Russian invaders and inflicting significant losses on them.

Communication in warfare is like the circulatory system: it ensures the flow of critically important data, literally saving the lives of our soldiers.

That is why one of the first tasks for a unit entering a sector is to establish reliable communication. No communication means no mission.

Ukrainian signalmen maintain the link whether we are in defense or offense, evacuating the wounded from the battlefield, or moving by sea, air, or on land to crucial locations on the map to eliminate the aggressors or their military assets.

Honor and glory to the Ukrainian signalmen! Respect to all who lost their lives defending Ukraine in the war against Russia.
