Karol Nawrocki has officially taken his oath, becoming the new president of Poland in a ceremony held at the Sejm.

Details: Supporters of Nawrocki gathered outside the building in the morning, chanting slogans in his favor.

Shortly after 10 AM local time, Karol Nawrocki took the oath and officially began his term, succeeding Andrzej Duda.

Duda, who has completed two terms, delivered his final address on Tuesday evening, promising to continue his "active engagement" both domestically and internationally.
