As part of the preparation for the upcoming school year, the Ukrainian government prioritizes frontline schools, ensuring their safety and adapting the educational process to new realities.

This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on her Telegram channel.

«Over three million Ukrainian students will start their studies — both in classrooms and online. We held a meeting with Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi to discuss the preparations,» she noted.

The head of the government emphasized that the lack of shelters in educational institutions negatively affects the quality of education and complicates the organization of in-person classes.

«Therefore, we continue the construction of new protective schools and are updating existing ones. We are also providing transportation for students with new school buses,» she added.

The Prime Minister highlighted the focus on schools in frontline regions.

«It is important that all children have equal access to quality education, and that educational programs meet the modern labor market requirements. That is why we focus on updating the content and methods of teaching in line with current challenges while enhancing teachers' qualifications,» Svyrydenko emphasized.

She also reminded that this year, over 2,400 students achieved the highest scores on the national multi-subject test. «We are working to ensure that each of them can realize their potential in Ukraine,» the head of government added.
