In the Kyiv region, a suspicious item was reported at a children's playground – police bomb squad investigated the object. The alert about the find, resembling an ammunition piece, was received by the authorities at 10:30 AM today. Police quickly arrived at the scene and restricted public access to the playground.
Bomb disposal specialists examined the object using an X-ray system – it turned out to be a 3D-printed mock anti-personnel mine and contained no explosives. Law enforcement officials confiscated the item for further investigation into how it ended up there.
Kyiv police thank citizens for their vigilance and reiterate the importance of reporting any suspicious or unknown items that may pose a danger by calling 102.
