According to forecasts, the total production of key oilseeds in Ukraine in the 2025/26 marketing year will reach 22.6 million tons.

This information was announced by the director of the "Ukrainian Oilseed Producers Association" Stepan Kapshuk, as reported by the APK-Inform agency.

He noted that more than half of this volume will consist of sunflower seeds – 13.1 million tons. The rapeseed harvest is projected to be at 3.3 million tons, while soybean production is expected to reach 6.2 million tons.

The total processing volume of these crops in the 2025/26 season, according to the association's estimates, will amount to 17.7 million tons: sunflower – 13 million tons, soybeans – 3.1 million tons, and rapeseed – 1.6 million tons.

The association anticipates that the total export of oilseeds for the season will be around 4.9 million tons, with 3 million tons being soybeans. Additionally, it is possible to export up to 1.7 million tons of rapeseed and approximately 200 thousand tons of sunflower seeds.

Regarding our assessment of oil production, the total volume in the 2025/26 marketing year will be approximately 7.1 million tons. Of that, 5.8 million tons will be sunflower oil. The production of rapeseed and soybean oil for the season will amount to 680 thousand tons and 620 thousand tons, respectively,” added Kapshuk.
