French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barro began his visit to the Ukrainian capital by inspecting the destruction inflicted by Russian bombardments.

This was reported by the Ukrainian embassy in France on social media platform X.

Barro arrived in Kyiv in the morning after Russia launched a nighttime assault involving 426 drones and 24 missiles.

"Jean-Noël Barro, who came to Kyiv as a guest of honor for the ambassadors' conference, started his visit at the bombing sites. Ukraine requires enhanced air defense capabilities," stated the embassy's announcement, which also included photos of the aftermath of the Russian strikes being inspected by the French minister.
