In July, Ukrzaliznytsia ramps up its humanitarian efforts by continuing to evacuate people from hazardous regions. Since the beginning of the month, 417 individuals have been transported to safer areas, including women, children, and persons with limited mobility. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

Evacuation trains operated on the following routes:

  • Zaporizhzhia — Lviv: 100 passengers;
  • Pavlohrad — Lviv: 146 passengers;
  • Kharkiv — Sumy — Uzhhorod: 21 passenger;
  • Kherson — Lviv: 85 passengers;
  • Shostka — Kyiv: 65 passengers.

All evacuees arrived in the western regions, where they were welcomed by local authorities and volunteers. The individuals were promptly settled in safe places.

Railway workers pay special attention to individuals with limited mobility. For example, recently, 11 such passengers traveled from Dnipro to Khmelnytskyi, and another 14 to Rivne.

Additionally, in recent days, four families from Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka, comprising 10 children, were successfully transported to Zakarpattia. They have all been provided with comfortable accommodation.

Ukrzaliznytsia emphasizes that the company is dedicated to ensuring that Ukrainians can reach safe locations on time. Conductors, engineers, dispatchers, volunteers, and partner organizations are all involved in the evacuation process.
