The Israel Defense Forces executed a series of strikes against Hezbollah positions deep within Lebanon. The targets included sites utilized by terrorists, such as weapon storage facilities.

This was reported by Vesty.co.il.

The military press service indicated that the primary objective of the strikes was the training camps of the elite Radwan unit.

"Following the directives of military intelligence A MAN and the Northern Command, the IDF Air Force began targeting several terrorist sites in Lebanon," the statement reads.

Lebanese media reported that the strikes occurred in the Baalbek area, over 80 kilometers from the Israeli border.

IDF clarified that movements of militants were observed at several locations, and intelligence detected the presence of Hezbollah weapon stockpiles.

The Israeli army press service emphasized that these camps were used for training terrorists preparing for actions against Israel, according to the publication.

On July 9, Israeli military announced it had entered southern Lebanon as part of targeted operations to dismantle the infrastructure of the Iran-backed group Hezbollah.
