CHARITY MATCH: a football game to support Ukraine's military intelligence took place in Kyiv

On July 12, at the «Dynamo» stadium named after Valerii Lobanovskyi in Kyiv, stars from Ukrainian arts, sports veterans, and military intelligence personnel gathered for a charity football match supporting the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.

The aim of the event was to raise funds for the procurement of advanced MAGURA drones for Ukrainian forces.

Before the match started, the Ukrainian National Anthem was played, and a moment of silence was observed in memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence.

Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, head of the military intelligence, thanked the players for their support.

“Today, MAGURA is not just a maritime drone; it is an innovative Ukrainian weapon known worldwide for its successful combat operations. Recently, we officially set five records achieved by military intelligence using these drones. Thank you to everyone supporting MAGURA and helping make our country stronger,” Budanov stated.

The first symbolic kick-off was made by a special forces soldier with the call sign “Khan”, who utilizes the latest maritime drones.

Two teams participated in the match: “Victory Formula” and “Ukrainian Artists' Team”, consisting of actors, athletes, TV presenters, musicians, volunteers, veterans, and military intelligence personnel. Coaches for the teams were Oleksandr Holovko and Oleksandr Khatskevych.

Among the match participants were musicians, actors, TV hosts, and former footballers who supported this charitable initiative.

“Through this fundraising campaign for new MAGURA drones, we have managed to collect over 30 million UAH. This funding will be used to manufacture MAGURA V7 strike drones and W6P reconnaissance modifications. Thank you to everyone who participated in the collection and organization of the charity match!”, shared the head of the Charitable Foundation.
