Power Outages in Kharkiv Region Due to Severe Weather

Approximately 30,000 subscribers in the Kharkiv region are without electricity due to severe weather conditions.

In the Kharkiv region, around 30,000 consumers are currently without electricity due to adverse weather conditions.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration, Oleg Synegubov.

"About 30,000 subscribers are experiencing power outages. Emergency services have been called out 60 times to address the aftermath of the weather," the post states.

Additionally, in Kharkiv, strong winds caused a construction crane to collapse and ripped the roof off a private house. In the Kharkiv district, a tree fell onto an electric train near Pokotilivka station heading towards Merefa.

Overall, one person has died and five others have been injured as a result of the severe weather in the Kharkiv region.

On July 8, due to unfavorable weather conditions, 701 populated locality in six regions of Ukraine were partially or completely de-energized.
