Bus Accident in Hungary: Latest Updates

Latest updates on the bus accident in Hungary, including the number of injured and information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A bus traveling from Ukraine to Ohrid was involved in an accident in Hungary. There were 77 individuals on board, including the drivers. As a result of the incident, 21 people sustained injuries, with four in critical condition.

This information was provided by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the time of the accident, which occurred on July 6 between the towns of Kunszentmárton and Tiszaújváros, the bus was carrying a group of children heading to a festival. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road.

“21 people were injured in the accident. Four Ukrainian citizens born in 1954, 1958, 2007, and 2011 have serious injuries. Other injured individuals, including children with minor injuries, will be transported to Kunszentmárton,” the Ministry stated.

The transport company is arranging additional buses for assistance.

Ukrainian diplomats and the consul in Hungary are monitoring the situation on-site, along with the ambassador.
