Today in Denmark, a memorandum was signed with the CEO of Swift Beat, Eric Schmidt, regarding the scaling up of drone technology production for Ukraine.

This has been reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine via Telegram.

This is a significant step towards achieving our strategic goal: to gain technological superiority on the battlefield and systematically strengthen the capabilities of the Armed Forces in the air.

The memorandum includes:

  • long-term partnership and priority supply of drones for Ukraine
  • scaling up the production of interceptor drones, quadcopters, and strike systems
  • development of new solutions to counter cruise and ballistic missiles

We are talking about hundreds of thousands of drones by 2025, with production ramping up in 2026. Specifically, this involves a large number of interceptor drones known as “Shaheds,” which have already proven their effectiveness in Ukraine.

The key point: supplies will be made under special conditions at production cost.

The mass use of drones has become one of the defining features of this war. To effectively protect our people, cities, and critical infrastructure, Ukraine is expanding its “drone arsenals,” leveraging the potential of the strongest global manufacturers.

We are working to ensure every unit has modern reconnaissance, surveillance, and strike capabilities, while our defenders receive everything necessary for effective combat.

Thank you to the Swift Beat team for their partnership and readiness to move quickly. Thank you to all our partners who are helping Ukraine to remain strong.
