Bunechko stated: "As of today, we have confirmed 2 fatalities. The second victim was rescued by emergency services overnight. There are currently 82 injured, 38 of whom, including 4 children, are hospitalized with moderate injuries."

He also added that around 100 households were affected, with approximately a quarter completely destroyed.

"The state, along with local authorities, will fully compensate for the lost housing. Commissions are currently working to assess the total value of the destroyed properties," Bunechko assured.

He refrained from commenting on the causes of the powerful explosions, citing a restriction from law enforcement.

"We have been working with law enforcement since early morning, but they have closed off any information, and I cannot comment. We will return to this issue soon. A criminal case was opened and entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations overnight," Bunechko said, without clarifying under what article the proceedings were initiated.
