The Danish government has announced its investment in the establishment of Ukrainian drone production on its territory. This was agreed upon under the "Build with Ukraine" initiative, with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and his Danish counterpart Troels Lund Poulsen signing a letter of intent.
For this project, Denmark has allocated over 47 million dollars. All products manufactured will be supplied to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, with funding coming from partners.
"This is a strategic move that enhances our joint defense capabilities, strengthens supply chains, and creates new opportunities for technology exchange and integration of our defense sectors," emphasized Rustem Umerov.
The "Build with Ukraine" initiative aims to develop Ukrainian arms production in partner countries. New enterprises will be financed by foreign investments and will cater exclusively to the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The United Kingdom has already taken similar steps, committing to fund the production of Ukrainian drones for three years.
