The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, stated that Tehran will not engage in military actions if Israel halts its strikes.
"Iran has repeatedly asserted that Israel initiated the war against Iran, not the other way around. Currently, there is no "agreement" on a ceasefire or military operations" - Araqchi emphasized.
He added that if Israel ceases its "illegal aggression" against Iran by 4 AM Tehran time, they do not intend to continue their response thereafter.
"A final decision regarding the cessation of our military operations will be made later" - Araqchi noted.
Later, Araqchi thanked the Iranian armed forces, stating that military operations against Israel "lasted until the last moment", hinting that hostilities may have concluded.
Previously, Trump mentioned a ceasefire between Israel and Iran that he hopes will become permanent.
According to media reports, Qatar facilitated the ceasefire agreement with the consent of both Israel and Iran.
