Ukrainian aviation companies will begin training and maintenance for Airbus technology. This initiative was made possible through an agreement signed at the international airshow in Le Bourget.

The three parties have signed a Memorandum outlining the training of Ukrainian specialists to work with European technology, enabling the repair of Airbus aviation equipment at local facilities.

Representatives from Airbus are already planning a visit to Ukraine to assist in forming teams of specialists who will study the technologies and documentation. Following the training, these specialists will be certified as instructors.

It’s important to note that various models of Airbus aviation technology are currently in service in Ukraine. For instance, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine operates Eurocopter EC145 and Airbus H225 Super Puma helicopters for patient evacuation and firefighting. The National Police and the State Border Guard Service utilize Airbus H125 and H145 for patrolling and personnel transport, while the National Guard employs Airbus H225 Super Puma for logistics tasks.

Additionally, one Airbus A319CJ aircraft is used to transport the country's top military-political leadership during international trips.

Interestingly, Airbus is actively studying the experiences from the Russo-Ukrainian war and is working on adapting its technology for various hybrid tasks. At the aforementioned Paris Air Show, the aviation giant presented a concept for converting its A400M military transport aircraft into a platform for launching and managing swarms of small drones.
