Ukraine will be forming its first female unit dedicated to the interception of Russian drones. This unit will be established within the 427th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems "Rarog".
This announcement was made on the regiment’s official page.
"Do you feel a calling to serve in the military? Ready for challenges and learning? Test your abilities in a drone interception crew, where you will find camaraderie with like-minded women," the statement reads.
The responsibilities of the drone interceptors will include:
- detecting and destroying enemy aerial threats;
- maintaining and preparing assigned weapons for combat;
- executing missions as part of a unit;
- mastering the chosen specialty;
- participating in training and combat operations;
- adhering to military discipline.
The regiment offers logistical, food, and medical support, along with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
The job description emphasizes that the unit will teach everything necessary, and all that is required from candidates is a willingness to serve.
