Yesterday, the first group of 40 Ukrainian teenagers and their accompanying adults who were affected by a horrific accident on June 13 in France returned to Ukraine.

This was reported by the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Since the accident, our consuls in France, as well as in Austria and the Ministry's representation in Uzhhorod, coordinated assistance: they stayed in contact with hospitals, organized logistics, and provided support at every step.

The children and adults traveled home by train: the route was Paris – Vienna – Chop – Chernivtsi.

This was made possible through the coordinated efforts of many agencies and individuals.
