Key Leaders of Southeast Europe Meet at the Odessa Summit

The summit in Odessa sees the participation of the Prime Ministers of Greece and Croatia, alongside the President of Montenegro.

The "Ukraine – Southeast Europe" summit is underway in Odessa, featuring Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović.

According to the Greek government's website, Mitsotakis "has traveled to Odessa to participate in the 4th summit "Ukraine – Southeast Europe", scheduled for June 11. 

The Croatian government confirmed that Plenković arrived in Ukraine for the summit, though the venue was not specified. The previous summit took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

This marks the fourth visit of the Croatian Prime Minister to Ukraine during the full-scale war, and during this time, Croatia has provided various forms of assistance to Ukraine amounting to approximately 315 million euros, as well as granted temporary protection to 30,000 Ukrainians.

The Montenegrin presidential website also indicated that Milatović has been invited to the summit taking place in Odessa. It was mentioned that Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zheliazkov are also expected to attend.

Among the summit guests are the new President of Romania Nicușor Dan and pro-Russian President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, who is making his first visit to Ukraine.
