Boryspil International Airport is gearing up to receive significant technical assistance from the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) between 2025 and 2028, which will include the supply of cutting-edge AODB/AOC information system equipment.

This information was disclosed in the project titled "Civil Aviation Development Strategy of Ukraine until 2030", which outlines the operational plan for 2025-2027, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".

From 2025 to 2028, KOICA will implement an international technical assistance project aimed at modernizing Boryspil Airport's operations for safe and efficient air transportation. The project registration number is 2024-00124, dated January 10, 2025.

This initiative is funded by the Republic of Korea's government, with the primary goal of enhancing passenger service conditions and improving navigation safety through the modernization of the airport's infrastructure.

The KOICA website has announced a tender for project support, inviting experts to assist in selecting local suppliers for AODB and AOC equipment.

The total tender amount is $1.1 million, and experts will be engaged until 2028 following the contract signing.

The strategy also anticipates assistance from partner airports in the form of the free transfer of technical equipment to designated Ukrainian airports.
