Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the imposition of sanctions against Dmitry Punin, the owner of the Russian casino Pin-Up, along with several associated individuals.
This is outlined in the presidential decree.
The restrictions have been placed on the casino's founder, Russian citizen Dmitry Punin, as well as Ivan Bannikov and Alexander Matyashov; companies such as UKR GAME TECHNOLOGIES, TRANITADEVELOPMENT, and TURBO.UA are also included. According to Interfax Ukraine, these companies are linked to Pin-Up.
In January, the State Bureau of Investigations detained Igor Zotyka, who operated the company that functioned in Ukraine under the online casino brand PIN-UP. Law enforcement considers him a nominal owner.
According to the State Bureau of Investigations, the actual owners of the commercial entity under the PIN-UP brand, which received a license for online gambling, are Russian nationals.
The investigation revealed that Zotyka had no legal sources for contributing 30 million UAH to the charter capital of the legal entity that obtained the license.
Data from YouControl indicates that he is the founder and beneficiary of LLC "Ukr Game Technologies" and LLC "FC "Unified Space". The latter company was responsible for processing payments in the "Diia" app and received a commission for this, but recently the app completely replaced Zotyka's company with the state-owned "Ukrgasbank".
