A new center to support children with autism spectrum disorders has been launched in Mykolaiv. Classes at this center are offered free of charge and tailored to each child's needs. This was announced by the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych, on his Telegram channel.
“We are excited to announce the opening of LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB — a new space for children with autism. Currently, there are only two such centers in Ukraine, one in Lviv and now here with us. This place offers not just classes, but genuine care, attention, and belief in children's potential,” he stated.
The center employs specialists such as speech therapists, neuropsychologists, and physiotherapists. Creative workshops, art, and music classes are also held.
According to Senkevych, all services are provided free of charge and tailored to the individual needs of the children. He added that the center was opened thanks to the collaborative efforts of Future for Ukraine, the Mykolaiv City Council, and partners from Nova Ukraine.
