Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam

Learn about the participation of Ukrainian films at IDFA in Amsterdam, one of the most influential documentary film festivals in Europe.

From November 13 to 23, Amsterdam will host one of the most significant documentary film festivals in Europe - the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA). This event showcases the finest examples of documentary filmmaking.

This year, Ukraine will present five remarkable films that reflect the experience and strength of the Ukrainian people:

  • "2000 Meters to Andriivka" - directed by Myroslav Chernov
  • "Militantropus" - directed by Yelyzaveta Smit, Alina Horlova, Semen Mozhovyi
  • "Time Tape" - directed by Kateryna Hornostai
  • "Silent Flood" - directed by Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk
  • "Time of Takeoff" - directed by Vitaliy Manskyi

These films are a testament to the struggle and creativity of Ukrainians, telling stories of dignity and hope even in the darkest times.
