Kyiv's Mayor Vitali Klitschko held a ceremonial event to recognize the most outstanding citizens of Kyiv who have made significant contributions to the city's development. The event took place at the city hall, as reported by the KMDA press service.

“In these challenging times for our country, we all need uplifting moments that bring us together. Today is one of those occasions. I have the honor of presenting state awards to exceptional representatives from various fields: educators, healthcare professionals, cultural workers, as well as volunteers and mothers of large families,” Klitschko stated.

All honorees share a common goal — bringing victory closer and restoring peace in Ukraine. “Your dedication and professionalism help the capital thrive and grow even in difficult conditions,” the mayor emphasized.

Klitschko awarded nearly 50 citizens, including the Order of Merit II degree, the title of “People's Artist of Ukraine,” “Honored Doctor of Ukraine,” and other prestigious accolades.
