UNESCO's Support for Ukraine: New Initiatives

UNESCO has adopted new resolutions to support Ukraine during aggression and recovery efforts.

At the session of the UNESCO Executive Board in Paris, new resolutions regarding emergency assistance programs for Ukraine were adopted. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the organization confirmed its solidarity with the Ukrainian people in addressing the consequences of Russian aggression.
The Executive Board recognized the importance of monitoring the situation in Ukraine, particularly in areas covered by UNESCO's mandate. According to the statement, “UNESCO's support is an integral part of protecting Ukraine's sovereignty and international law.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that UNESCO's assistance is crucial for global solidarity and contributing to post-war recovery.
