This past weekend in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, an extraordinary sports festival called 'Strong Nation' took place. This event showcased how sports can unite people and inspire new achievements. Kyiv City Council member Taras Kryvoruchko, who participated in the festival, expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants for this unforgettable occasion.

“Hundreds of people gathered, and the atmosphere was filled with a spirit of unity and optimism. Athletes exchanged energy, and workshops from various sports allowed everyone to find something they enjoyed. Tactical medicine and modern military technologies served as a reminder of the importance of being prepared for any challenges of today.

Before the event started, attendees were entertained by performances from Ukrainian artists, and children happily joined the races over 1 and 3 kilometers. Each participant received a commemorative medal saying 'Strong Nation. Together we showed that Ukraine is our strength, our spirit, and our faith in victory!'” Taras Kryvoruchko stated.

He also emphasized that the enthusiasm and determination of the youth particularly struck a chord with everyone.

“This is what our country needs: strong, confident young individuals. Active people drive change,” the council member stressed.

Olexiy Parashchenko, director of the 'Strong Nation' Physical Patriotic Education Center, shared his thoughts on the event as well.

“This event became a wonderful platform for promoting physical culture and patriotism among the youth. We aim to raise a new generation that is not only physically strong but also morally resilient. The festival is an opportunity for youth to showcase their strength and solidarity while demonstrating readiness to act for the good of their country,” Olexiy Parashchenko said.

He highlighted the importance of such events, as the 'Strong Nation' is not just a sporting competition but also a way to unite people around common values.
