Olena Zelenska, the president's wife, introduced a new initiative called "Global Campaign for Education" aimed at promoting education worldwide.

This significant announcement was made during the fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen held in Kyiv.

"We are leaving the summit with fresh ideas and inspiration to act. The first step on our journey has already been taken. I proudly announce the launch of a global campaign for education called "Global Campaign for Education" on behalf of all the first ladies," she stated.

Zelenska emphasized that modern education should encompass not only knowledge but also the development of emotional intelligence and humanitarian values.

"These concepts may have been viewed separately in the past, but the modern world requires that education and the cultivation of human qualities go hand in hand," she added.

The president's wife highlighted that all summit participants gained invaluable experiences and heard many new ideas. She also noted that this year's theme was well-chosen.

Zelenska expressed gratitude to all the first ladies and gentlemen who participated in the event, as well as to experts and educators.

"It is a great honor for us that many of you spent these two days with us. Thank you for being there for your students and for us. If anything gives humanity hope, it is your dedicated work," she concluded.

We remind you that the fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen on the theme «Education that Shapes the Future» took place in Kyiv. First ladies and gentlemen from six countries attended the event: Doris Schmidauer (Austria), Bo Tengberg (Denmark), Siiri Karis (Estonia), Suzanne Innes-Stubb (Finland), Elke Budenbender (Germany), and Diana Nausėdienė (Lithuania).
