Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, met with James Temerty, founder of the Temerty Foundation, and his sister Liudmyla Temerty, along with other representatives of the foundation.

James Temerty, one of the most influential philanthropists, has initiated numerous projects to support Ukraine since the onset of the war, particularly in education, healthcare, and infrastructure recovery.

During the meeting, they discussed new avenues for collaboration in military intelligence and consolidating efforts among Ukrainians abroad.

“The diaspora plays a crucial role in strengthening our defense capabilities. Through unity, we can respond to challenges more swiftly,” emphasized Budanov.

Temerty also acknowledged the professionalism of Ukrainian intelligence officers.

“The work of the GUR impresses with its determination. We are honored to support those who risk their lives daily for Ukraine,” he stated.

Budanov expressed gratitude to Temerty for his contributions to Ukraine's support and congratulated him on receiving the title of “National Legend of Ukraine.”

“Today, Ukrainians unite for victory. Supporting leaders like Temerty exemplifies global solidarity,” Budanov concluded.
