On August 18, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, led by Yulia Svyrydenko, presented a new action plan for the government.
«This action plan is a crucial step for our country to survive during the war and to recover in the future», — stated Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Matviy Bidny, outlined three main directions for the ministry's work within the framework of the new program:
Sports reform and scientific research: implementing European management standards, developing sports clubs, and creating adaptive sports centers. The launch of OlympicLab — a scientific hub for innovation and training top athletes.
«Sports play a vital role in society, and we aim to strengthen it through reforms» — emphasized the Minister.
Youth policy: implementation of the EU initiative «Youth Guarantee», which opens up opportunities for young people in education and employment.
«This is a comprehensive reform aimed at improving conditions for youth in the labor market», — explained Matviy Bidny.
National identity: a foundation for cohesion, security, and state development.
The Minister highlighted the importance of establishing national identity as one of the priorities of state policy. National narratives enhance defense capability, and the youth play a leading role in creating and disseminating these meanings.
