Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine's GUR, met with the band “Kurhan&Agregat” and representatives of Diana Podolyanchuk's Charity Fund, who donated FPV drones for military intelligence worth 3 million hryvnias.
Budanov expressed his admiration for the sincerity and originality of the artists' music.
“Your music resonates with a truth that is understandable to all Ukrainians. Such artists communicate with people in a universal language. When they also support the military through tangible actions, it creates a powerful synergy between culture and the armed forces,” he noted.
Additionally, the musicians donated another 2 million UAH for the acquisition of advanced MAGURA sea drones, which help Ukraine maintain dominance in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. The total aid amounted to 5 million hryvnias.
During the meeting, the artists presented Budanov with a copy of their latest album signed by them. In return, the chief of GUR gifted the band a signed model of the MAGURA drone as a symbolic keepsake of their joint efforts.
“Sea and air drones provide our units with a significant advantage on the battlefield. I wish you continued creative success and hope our collaboration lasts into the future,” he emphasized.
It is worth noting that the band “Kurhan&Agregat” had previously contributed to purchasing boats for the special units of GUR and donated large batches of strike drones.
