During his visit to Denmark, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded young volunteer Jens Fog Thomsen.

According to "European Truth", Zelensky shared this news on social media.

Thomsen became the first foreigner to receive the "Future of Ukraine" award.

"Since last year, he has been making Easter decorations and has raised over 34,000 Danish crowns from their sale, which he used to buy school backpacks and supplies for Ukrainian children affected by the war," the president stated.

The President's Office clarified that Jens began helping Ukraine in 2024 when he saw news about children who had lost their homes due to Russian aggression.

He creates Easter decorations in the form of blue-yellow chicks made of beads.

Zelensky also awarded 24 children with the "Future of Ukraine" award at the end of May.
