The operation of mobile branches of Oschadbank has become the topic of a recent video report published on YouTube. The history of this project is quite interesting.

In the winter of 2025, a team from the "Espresso" channel, along with Oschadbank's chairman Serhiy Naumov, visited the frontline Sumy region to showcase how the "on wheels" branch operates. Over the course of two days, they traveled to the villages of Hlynsk and Kyrykivka, located near the border with the Russian Federation. These communities lack stationary banks and residents are in dire need of cash, utility payment options, and bank card issuance.

The Sumy region consists of 51 united territorial communities, 22 of which are situated in high-risk military zones. Oschadbank's mobile unit services 15 of these communities. Local residents are suffering from constant shelling, and access to banking services is nearly non-existent in remote areas. Thus, mobile branches have become their only option for receiving social payments, salaries, and carrying out essential operations.

Oschadbank's mobile unit frequently travels to remote areas of the Sumy region to provide financial services. The schedule and locations of the branches are coordinated with local authorities and adjusted based on the security situation. The branches are equipped with satellite communication, alarms, autonomous power supply, and security systems.

The demand for financial services in frontline communities remains significant. Unfortunately, not all Ukrainians can utilize online banking. For many, Oschadbank "on wheels" has become a vital solution.

"Colleagues from frontline branches state that Oschadbank's return to towns and villages is crucial for their residents. I witnessed this firsthand during my visit to Sumy. People need to access pensions, transfers, and social payments. Life is returning to these communities. That’s why we will continue to do everything possible to increase the number of our branches, especially in frontline areas. We understand that this is not about profit but about social responsibility and supporting Ukrainians who live where it is unsafe to operate a branch," said Oschadbank chairman Serhiy Naumov.

The mobile units project "on wheels" is an important initiative, as it is part of the Oschad program "My Accessibility." It enables the bank to provide services to those Ukrainians who were previously deprived of access, particularly residents of dangerous or geographically isolated areas.

Currently, Oschadbank's mobile branches operate in eight regions of Ukraine where infrastructure is lacking. In 2024, these mobile units primarily served the Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. This year, two more vehicles were added in Dnipropetrovsk and one in Mykolaiv. Now, mobile branches serve clients in 125 remote communities, and soon two more vehicles will begin operations in Zaporizhia and Odesa regions.
