Serhiy Tihipko, shareholder of the TAS group, has submitted a package of documents to the National Bank of Ukraine seeking approval for the acquisition of "Idea Bank". The processing of these documents is currently underway in accordance with legal requirements.

The regulator confirmed the receipt of the documents in response to an inquiry from "Interfax-Ukraine".

"The National Bank of Ukraine is reviewing the submitted documents related to acquiring substantial participation as part of the licensing procedures according to established regulations," the statement reads.

It is worth noting that in October 2024, the TAS group and Getin Holding signed an agreement for the sale of 100% of the shares of "Idea Bank Ukraine".

Subsequently, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine granted permission to Serhiy Tihipko for concentration through the indirect acquisition of 100% of the shares of "Idea Bank".
